Room was nice and clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Toiletries were a good size. We requested extra towels and they were delivered quickly. Overall we enjoyed.
Really good location for a first time trip to NYC - very handy to both grand central station and times square. Decor, whilst modern, is a little tired. Bedside lamps did not work but it wasn't a big issue as we were hardly ever in the room. Bar very quiet but cool.
The hotel is solid 3.5-4 stars. We got a suite, so plenty of room. Pros: comfortable bed, good AC, clean rooms, good bathroom product, decent wifi. Cons: shower is tight, the curtain touches you while you shower, they could greatly benefit from the outward bending shower curtain rods; blackout shades blackout nothing, super bright in the morning; heavy doors slam shut, so easy to get woken up by neighbors. Great service, ok continental breakfast.
Great location, and an awesome room! We opted for a suite which had a separate living space and a king size bed. Room was spotless and the shower was especially nice. Loved the rain shower head. Great price on the room as well. Very close to Times Square. Was nervous booking because of some reviews saying it was "outdated" but nothing important was outdated, only the accent tiles in the bathroom, which didn't matter to us. Would stay again.
Room is small but nice and has everything you need. Stay above floor 12 if facing the courtyard so you have a view! The location is great for exploring the city, easy to get to rockafeller/times square/green train line/grand central by foot. Only issue we had during stay was a noisy air con and booking our car to airport an hour later than asked. Would happily stay here again
My wife and I were here nearly 10 years ago and the mattress we slept on is the best I’ve ever slept on in my life. Till this day, I’m in the hunt for the name of their mattress , because it was just epic. Would be grateful if anyone can share this. Thanks
Loved this hotel, staff are friendly and courteous. Lovely quiet and relaxing. Our room was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and hotel is in a perfect location. Cant fault it. Will highly recommend to family and friends and will definitely stay here again.
Classy, laidback hotel with a really friendly staff. We booked a group block here for our wedding and ended up receiving a complimentary upgrade to a suite from them. We loved our room and heard nothing but good things about the hotel from our guests. The staff was a lovely mixture of competence and friendliness. I got the impression that the staff as a whole got along well with one another, which gave the whole place a really pleasant vibe. I also highly recommend their bar/lounge, especially if you enjoy cocktails in an easygoing setting. It's a large space with lots of comfy couches and a bar well stocked with a huge variety of whiskies and bourbons that specializes in making old fashioned. I had an old fashioned with bourbon, scottish spiced sweetener, and burlesque bitters and it was great! The bar is only open on weekdays though :(
